OPV LE Samuel Becket (P61) entered service earlier this year with Evac's latest range of Vacuum Sanitary Equipment fitted onboard. The system (commissioned in February 2014) included 2 x MBR32C Sewage Treatment Plants, 19 x Evac 910 Deck Mounted Vacuum Toilets and 12 x 5 Litre Vacuum Interface Valves.

The plants represent Evac's latest range of Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plants which currently meet the requirements of MEPC 159(55) and IMO Resolution 200(62) which entered into force on the 1st January 2013 and will apply to New Passenger Ships on or after the 1st January 2016 and all existing passenger ships on or after 1st January 2018.
