Herborner Multi Pump Set ordered for Aida Hyperion 1

The purchase order comprises a total of 41 centrifugal pumps which have been selected from Herborner's latest Unipump Range.

The selected range comprises the 3K/80-1-155-F-W4, 3K/80-2-180-F-W4 , 10/HK80-1-155-F-W4, 4/HK50-2-130-F-W4 and 10/QSH101-2-230-F-W4 models. All pump bodies are manufactured in AISI 316 stainless steel and are close coupled to the latest IE3 Energy Efficient Motors ranging from 2.6 to 9.0 kW at 60hz (for further details refer to the pump data sheets located on the Herborner Product Page).

All equipment will be installed onboard Aida's latest 125,000 GT newbuilding (currently referred as the Hyperion 1 Project) which is under construction at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Yard in Japan. The vessel will include 1625 cabins and will be the largest cruise ship to enter service with Aida when it is commissioned in March 2015.
