New Evac Vacuum Sanitary System for Hoy Head

The vacuum sanitary equipment is to be installed in the new extended area whilst the vessel is undergoing a comprehensive refit at Cammell Laird's Birkenhead yard next year. The work on the Hoy Head will increase the car capacity on the vessel from 14 to 24 cars or 3 HGVs and 7 Cars.

The new vacuum sanitary equipment will include Evac's latest OnlineVac V32 Vacuum Generation Set which has been designed specifically for smaller vessels. The extended public areas will include 6 x Evac 910 Bulkhead Mounted Toilets and 5 x 2 Litre Vacuum Interface Valves.

The ship extension program is being funded by the Orkney Council's capital program.
