Transvac are pleased to announce that sales for it's new improved PiranhaVac Acid Dosing Unit has now reached the 150 mark. The units have been developed as a result of a continued demand from the market and have a design based on the company's 30 years experience whilst working in marine and offshore service sectors.

Advantages:

• The "PiranhaVac" is unobtrusive, simple, safe and user friendly. The equipment can be used by the operator as a regular maintenance tool.

• The unit is mobile and easy to set up.

• The PiranhaVac unit effectively cleans the vacuum toilet system pipework whilst all toilets remain in operation. As a result, the cleaning can take place at any time whilst the vessel is "Under Way" and carrying a full complement of passengers/crew. The cleaning technique allows the operator to perform the cleaning without causing any disruption to the vessel's normal operation.

• The unit can be set up by one person and does not require any monitoring. There are no risks of leaks of spillages whilst the vacuum toilet system remains in full operation.

• The PiranhaVac unit incorporates its own battery to power the control panel. There is no requirement to access power supplies, enabling the operator to site and operate the unit in the most tightest of spaces.

New Improvements:

The latest generation of PiranhaVac Units now include the following improved features:

• Improved pipework connections and manifold.

• Additional vacuum gauge and battery status meter.

• Improved control panel and battery charging interface.

• New smaller PiranhaVac Unit ("PiranhaVac Mini") with reduced height for application onboard smaller vessels and yachts where access space is restrictive.
