Two new HG1000X BWT Units for RFA Wave Knight & Ruler

Hyde Marine Inc have been awarded orders for two Hyde Guardian HG1000X Ballast Water Treatment Sets for RFA Fast Fleet Tankers Wave Knight and Wave Ruler. Each equipment set has been designed to process 1000 m3/hr of ballast water in accordance with the latest IMO D2 Guidelines and will be installed in the Cargo Pump Spaces which are classified as Ex rated Hazardous Spaces.

In order to comply with requirements, the HG1000X equipment sets will be Atex Certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC. In particular, the UV reactors will be protected to IP4X.

Hyde Marine recently attained DNV certification (DNV Certificate Number DNV 11 ATEX 04992X) on the 9th December 2011. A copy of the certification is featured in the Download Section of the Hyde Guardian Products Page.
